Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a skilled donor service technician to perform plasmapheresis procedures, including venipuncture, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining donor comfort.

You will set up and operate plasmapheresis equipment, monitor donor safety, and document reflective data accurately. The role requires the ability to follow strict procedures, handle biohazard waste, and work flexible daytime and evening hours with the potential for extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months' experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal protocol.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection with the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Provide excellent donor service and maintain a positive donor experience.
• Set up and prepare equipment and supplies, label units accurately, and monitor donor conditions.
• Troubleshoot alarms, document exceptions, and manage donor adverse events.
• Calibrate/maintain plasmapheresis machines and manage biohazard waste per safety protocols.
