Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis technician to perform venipuncture and collect plasma in a high-volume center. You will follow SOPs and ensure donor safety and comfort while maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include operating plasmapheresis machines, monitoring donor conditions, maintaining supplies, and keeping a clean work area. Requirements include a high school diploma and minimal healthcare experience; training completes before performing duties

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent.
• Completion of training appropriate for duties before performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and plasmapheresis while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/GMP SOPs and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Maintain supplies and a clean, professional work environment.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and donor events.
• Document machine logs and report unsafe conditions to management.
