Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasma processing professional to execute plasmapheresis and perform venipunctures. You will ensure donor safety, comply with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/GMP standards, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to speak, read, write English.
• Ability to read and follow written protocols.
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
• Experience with venipunctures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliant operation with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Review donor ID, monitor donor conditions, and ensure donor comfort and safety.
• Set up equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units accurately.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, troubleshoot alarms, and document exceptions.
• Handle biohazardous waste and equipment disposal following safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on plasmapheresis machines and replace equipment as needed.
• Maintain thorough Donor Floor records and organize work areas.
