Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Plasma Center Technician to perform plasmapheresis and venipuncture, ensuring donor safety and comfort while following FDA SOPs. The role involves operating plasmapheresis machines, maintaining logs, and providing exceptional donor service in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and training completion prior to independent duties, with opportunities for formal training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in a medical or health care environment is a plus.
• Completion of training appropriate for duties prior to performing tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedures per SOPs.
• Maintain donor comfort, safety and high service standards.
• Operate and monitor automated plasmapheresis machines; respond to alarms.
• Maintain accurate machine logs and donor documentation.
• Ensure proper handling of biohazard waste and equipment.
• Assist with daily/weekly/monthly calibration and maintenance.
