Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a donor services technician to perform plasmapheresis and venipuncture, focusing on donor safety and regulatory compliance.

You will ensure excellent donor experience and maintain a clean, compliant environment while stocking supplies and documenting procedures. The role requires basic healthcare experience, strong communication, and the ability to operate specialized plasma collection equipment with attention to safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months' experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Completed documentation of training appropriate for duties, prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures while maintaining donor safety and comfort.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and SOPs.
• Maintain donor experience and cleanliness; stock supplies and document accurately.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and adverse events.
• Document machine logs and ensure proper disposal of biohazard waste per protocols.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance on equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Travel to support operations as needed and contribute to training efforts.
