Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Plasma Donor Technician to execute plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures with focus on safety and donor experience.

You will follow FDA SOPs, OSHA and CLIA guidelines, maintain accurate logs, prepare equipment, monitor donor conditions, and ensure clean, compliant operations while delivering high-quality plasma products.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to work day or evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with healthcare exposure preferred.
• Experience in medical/healthcare environment is beneficial.
• Must complete training prior to duties performed independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain donor experience and provide high-quality customer service.
• Stock and replenish supplies; keep the work area clean and professional.
• Review donor identification and maintain confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up and prepare equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units.
• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection with safety and quality.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines; respond to alarms and document events.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma product quality; adjust as needed.
• Calibrate/maintain machines; replace equipment as needed.
• Maintain logs; report unsafe situations to management.
• Drive training efficiencies; perform routine QC on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
