Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring a plasma donor center technician to execute plasmapheresis and perform venipunctures. You will ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP, while delivering excellent donor service.

The role requires attentiveness to safety, accurate documentation, machine operation, routine maintenance, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with donors during day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 months experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Training complete before performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Set up equipment, label units, and monitor machine alarms.
• Maintain donor comfort and safe collection procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines; document logs.
• Support donor experience and clean, stocked work environment.
• Report unsafe situations and participate in training initiatives.
