Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to execute plasmapheresis and perform venipunctures. The role requires strict adherence to FDA approved SOPs, safety standards, and high-quality donor care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months' experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high donor service and positive donor experience.
• Stock and replenish supplies; keep a clean, professional environment.
• Verify donor identification and confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up and prepare equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units and samples.
• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection with quality and safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines; respond to alarms and monitor donor safety.
• Monitor donor conditions; ensure comfort and plasma product quality.
• Maintain machine logs; report unsafe situations to management.
• Drive training efficiencies and ensure timely compliance.
• Troubleshoot alarms and perform regular QC on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
