Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a Donor Center Assistant to perform plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures while upholding donor safety and confidentiality. You will ensure compliance with FDA SOPs and safety protocols in a fast-paced donor center environment.

The role requires basic healthcare experience, a high school diploma, and demonstrated ability to document accurately and follow procedures. Training, teamwork, and reliability are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (GED acceptable).
• Three months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and provide high-quality customer service.
• Ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards.
• Set up equipment, label units and samples accurately, and monitor donor safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, troubleshoot alarms, and document exceptions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize work areas; perform inventory tasks and log records.
