Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Processing Technician in Oklahoma City to handle sampling, storage, and shipping of donor plasma. The role emphasizes sterile technique, accurate labeling, and strict adherence to SOPs to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate will perform daily equipment calibration, data entry for donor information, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with HSE/OSHA policies. Some cross-training and bilingual skills may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma units safely.
• Verify that pre-printed labels match dynamic labels for accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and apply heat sealing to maintain sterility.
• Pack and ship samples and units per SOPs and center procedures; prepare shipping documents.
• Monitor freezer and fridge temperatures; report deviations and record variances.
• Calibrate equipment daily as part of SOP compliance.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies; protect confidential information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
