Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer according to SOPs.
• Store plasma units properly and monitor temperatures.
• Verify labels against pre-printed and dynamic labels for accuracy.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation when required.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies and OSHA procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
