Job summary

CSL is seeking a plasma center associate to handle sampling, storage and shipping of donor plasma. You will ensure proper labeling, sterility, and documentation, while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

The role involves maintaining accurate donor records, monitoring temperatures, and possibly cross-training in other areas to support operations. High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least 3 months of lab/warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs.
• Verify pre-printed label matches dynamic label to ensure accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and seal to maintain sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report issues.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor management system as outlined in SOPs.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
