Job summary

CSL Plasma in Raleigh, NC is seeking a donor center screener to greet donors, assist with screening and registration, and perform health checks. The role includes documenting donor data, answering inquiries, and upholding safety and confidentiality policies.

Upon training, you may educate donors about therapeutic products from plasma and assist with cross-training in other areas as needed. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Bilingual skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center.
• Assist donors with registration and screening per SOPs.
• Perform screening procedures including health history review, basic medical questions, and health measurements: BP, pulse, weight, temperature; finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on use of therapeutic products from donated plasma after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on operational needs.
• Answer telephone inquiries or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; ensure supplies and forms are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required per organizational needs.
