Job summary

CSL's Jacksonville plasma collection center is seeking a friendly front-desk/registration associate to greet donors and verify their suitability for the plasma pheresis process. You will assist with the screening, health history questions, and basic health checks.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products, appointment systems, fees, and center policies while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process in accordance with SOPs, including health history review and health screening procedures.
• Explain screening processes, health tests, appointment system, and center policies to donors after training.
• Register/apply donor information and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor safety during and after pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain confidentiality of all donor and center information.
