Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener with phlebotomy duties in Elkhart, IN. You will greet donors, screen them, and record vitals while ensuring donor and staff safety.

You will maintain donor charts in the Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation throughout shifts that include weekends and holidays. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 32 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• Ability to stand/walk for the shift and lift up to 32 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Glove use is common due to potential bloodborne exposure.

Responsibilities

• Screen donors and take donor vital signs.
• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the Donor Information System.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes and support operations.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
