Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a dedicated team member to support plasma center operations as a donor screener and phlebotomy assistant. The role emphasizes donor safety, accurate data recording, and responsive customer service to donors.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager, work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays, and contribute to continuous improvement within center processes while upholding high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure (risk level 1).
• 1+ year experience in a customer-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts and records.
• Coordinate donor compensation and maintain accurate records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and follow approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
