Job summary

CSL in Port Huron, MI is seeking a Donor Center Registrar to greet donors, guide them through the screening process, and ensure donor suitability for plasma pheresis. You will support health checks, explain donation procedures, and maintain accurate donor records in our information system.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products and policies, assist with registrations, answer inquiries, and help maintain a safe, confidential center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three months+ clerical or customer service experience in medical setting preferred.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and conduct registration to verify suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors with screening procedures per SOPs and perform health checks.
• Educate donors on plasma products and donation processes after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Escalate donor flow issues to Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Understand policies for hyper immune programs at the center.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
