Job summary

CSL is seeking a Donor Center Support role in Michigan, focused on welcoming donors and guiding them through eligibility screens for plasma pheresis. You will assist with health history reviews, vital checks, and basic questions under SOPs, while maintaining donor privacy.

Responsibilities include documenting donor data, answering inquiries, and helping maintain safety and compliance in a fast-paced center. Training enables education of donors about the process and center policies.

Qualifications

• Requires good customer service and data-entry abilities.
• Knowledge of basic medical screening concepts is preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain donor privacy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify eligibility.
• Assist with screening procedures per SOPs, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Perform finger stick sampling to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on procedures and center policies after training.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Respond to donor questions and relay information to clinical staff as needed.
• Monitor donor wellbeing during and after pheresis and escalate if issues arise.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Adhere to HSE and OSHA policies and ensure donor confidentiality.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed and support communications as directed.
