Job summary

Octapharma Plasma is hiring to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. The role emphasizes donor safety, high-quality procedures, and meticulous recordkeeping.

The position requires familiarity with SOPs, testing, and equipment operation, with a focus on patient and donor safety across a fast-paced plasma center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 months’ experience in clerical or customer service preferred.
• State requirements may require specific certification or licensing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and donor confidentiality.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals and testing.
• Set up and operate plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Perform plasma collection and processing with proper sample handling and shipping preparations.
• Maintain equipment and recordkeeping in accordance with SOPs.
