Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring for a role focused on donor eligibility, plasma collection, and product processing with strict adherence to FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards. You will ensure accurate records, maintain donor confidentiality, and support a safe, compliant operation.

The position involves operating plasmapheresis equipment, performing quality control, and upholding exceptional donor experiences across shifts. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months’ experience in clerical or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and positive donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals, protein testing, and donor registration, for safety and quality.
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms, troubleshoot alerts, and disconnect donors after completion.
• Perform plasma collection and processing, including sterile products and sample handling, freezer organization, and shipments per SOPs and regulations.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures, report malfunctions, and document variances.
• Maintain cleanliness of the donor center and work areas; ensure professional appearance, stocking, and safe disposal of biohazardous waste.
• Maintain and perform quality control on donor center equipment per SOPs and manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain complete and accurate recordkeeping in compliance with SOPs.
• Provide oversight of product safety and quality by monitoring collection ratios and donor safety, and responding to adverse events.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine QC checks on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
