Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection including donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect.
  • Conduct venipuncture in accordance with SOPs and FDA guidelines to start pheresis.
  • Evaluate donor vein performance and adjust processes to ensure donor safety and product quality.
  • Educate donors on the donation process, health screening tests, fees, policies and center procedures, answering questions promptly.
  • Monitor for donor reactions and assist or escalate as needed.
  • Record incidents using the PDA and document equipment alarms and donor events.
  • Calibrate equipment and respond to complex alarms or issues to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Maintain donor flow on the floor, ensuring turnover and reporting flow issues to leadership.
  • Collect donor samples for testing and accurately record donor data in the system.
  • Maintain a clean, compliant work environment and follow all HSE/OSHA policies.
