Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Pheresis Technician responsible for venipuncture and collecting plasma from donors. You will monitor the pheresis process, set up donor equipment, and ensure donor safety while adhering to SOPs and FDA guidelines.

You will record donor information, manage alarms and incidents, and assist with donor education. A health care background and strong safety focus are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and healthcare exposure.
• Experience in medical/healthcare environment preferred or with equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to initiate pheresis process.
• Monitor donors during pheresis and respond to alarms or adverse events.
• Set up donor equipment and prepare supplies for pheresis.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information system.
• Calibrate and verify maintenance per SOPs; troubleshoot equipment alarms.
• Educate donors about the donation process, nutrition and center policies.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
