Job summary

CSL seeks a plasma donation technician to perform pheresis and plasma collection following SOPs and FDA guidelines. Responsibilities include donor setup, monitoring, venipuncture, and data recording to ensure donor safety and product quality.

Candidates should have at least 12 months in a medical environment and be able to follow strict procedures; CA-specific certifications may apply where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent.
• Bilingual skills may be required, at organization's discretion.
• Refer to local job documentation for applicable requirements (e.g., CA-specific).

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor during donation, and disconnect donor.
• Venipuncture to initiate pheresis under FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donor vein performance and expedite donation time.
• Record incidents and donor data in the donor information system.
