Job summary

CSL in Illinois seeks a donor center associate to greet donors and guide them through registration for plasma pheresis. You will assist with screening, health history reviews, and basic health checks like blood pressure and temperature.

After training, you may educate donors on plasma-derived products, policies, nutrition, and appointment systems, and you may assist with donor registration and transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history, questions, and basic health screenings.
• Explain the screening process, tests, appointment system, and policies to donors after appropriate training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and direct caller inquiries to appropriate staff.
