Job summary

CSL is seeking a Donor Center Associate to greet donors and guide them through registration and screening for plasma pheresis. After training, you will educate donors on the use of products derived from plasma and center policies, nutrition, and appointment logistics.

You will perform health screenings, record data accurately, and assist with donor flow while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and compliance with SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors with screening procedures according to SOPs, including health history review and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening tasks such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; collect samples for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate new donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma, center policies, nutrition, and appointment system after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed; answer phones or route calls to staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff of issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are stocked; follow HSE/OSHA policies; protect donor and center confidentiality.
