CSL Plasma is seeking a plasma collection technician to perform venipuncture and manage the pheresis process in accordance with SOPs. You will set up donors, monitor the procedure, and ensure safe, efficient collections on the donor floor.

Responsibilities include educating donors about plasma products, screening, and policies; monitoring for adverse events and recording data in the electronic system. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and donor experience on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• In California centers, must be Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or a Registered Nurse by the state.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and monitor pheresis following SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor, and disconnect donor during pheresis.
• Educate donors on plasma products, screening, and appointment policies.
• Monitor donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and machine alarms using the PDA and ensure data accuracy.
