Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12+ months in medical/healthcare environment preferred.
• CA centers: phlebotomy certification or RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma via venipuncture and monitor pheresis per SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor during procedure, and disconnect donor after pheresis.
• Perform venipuncture to initiate pheresis and comply with FDA guidelines.
• Assess vein performance and adjust to ensure donor safety and efficient donation.
• Educate donors on donation process, fees, policies, and nutrition as needed.
• Record incidents and donor data accurately in the management system.
• Respond to equipment alarms and resolve basic issues; document incidents.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and availability of supplies; follow OSHA/HSE policies.
• May be cross-trained; bilingual ability may be required.
