Job summary

CSL Plasma Center in the United States seeks a phlebotomist to collect plasma from donors by performing venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process following SOPs.

You will educate donors about the donation procedure, ensure donor safety, document process data in the donor information system, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with HSE and OSHA policies. Some extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• External candidates: minimum 6 months experience as a phlebotomist; 1 year preferred.
• CSL Plasma phlebotomy training required for internal applicants.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of the pheresis procedure and plasma collection.
• Performs venipuncture to begin pheresis following SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Evaluates donor vein performance to expedite donation and ensure safety.
• Educates new donors on the donation process and health screening tests.
• Maintains donor data in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and follows HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross‑trained in other areas as needed.
