Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: external candidates 6+ months as phlebotomist; 12 months in medical/healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis and plasma collection including donor setup and monitoring.
• Conduct venipuncture per SOPs and FDA guidelines to start pheresis.
• Monitor donor vein performance and adjust to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Educate donors on plasma products, screening, health tests, and center policies.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and respond to alarms and donor issues.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and ensure supplies are available.
