Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Center Phlebotomy Technician to support plasma collection operations in Augusta, GA. You will perform venipuncture, monitor the pheresis process and adhere to SOPs to ensure donor safety and product quality.

Responsibilities include donor setup, monitoring, sample collection, data entry, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while complying with HSE/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months of medical or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with phlebotomy or pheresis procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for efficient collection of plasma from donors via venipuncture and pheresis procedures according to SOPs.
• Perform donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect as part of the pheresis process.
• Conduct donor venipuncture in compliance with FDA guidelines.
• Evaluate vein performance and adjust to optimize donation time and safety.
• Educate donors on the donation process and product information as needed.
• Record donor data in the electronic system and monitor for adverse events.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
