The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, accurate recordkeeping, and adherence to SOPs for sample handling and transport. Some shifts may require weekend availability and physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months of clerical or customer service experience preferred.
• Certification or licensing may be required based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high levels of customer service and donor confidentiality.
• Perform donor eligibility assessments including vitals and testing.
• Operate plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Handle plasma collection, sample handling, and shipments per SOPs.
• Monitor temperatures and document variances for storage equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe disposal of biohazard waste.
• Perform routine equipment quality control and recordkeeping.
• Oversee product safety and donor safety, including adverse events.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine QC checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
