Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a Donor Center Technician to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.

The role emphasizes maintaining donor confidentiality, safe handling of samples, and accurate recordkeeping in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with potential state-specific certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
• Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high levels of customer service and donor confidentiality for a positive donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals and testing.
• Set up and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Perform plasma collection and processing with proper handling and shipments per SOPs.
• Monitor temperatures of freezers/refrigerators and document variances.
