Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a part-time donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor during donation, and handle setup, verification, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle materials.
• 1+ years in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within training scope.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of materials.
• Record donor vital signs and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donor flow to the donor floor and compensate donors with the debit card system.
• Support center management in process improvements per approved procedures.
