Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support center operations. You will greet donors, conduct screenings, record vitals, and help ensure safety and quality during donor visits.

This role offers a flexible schedule with most shifts 4 to 6 hours, 3+ days per week, and a starting hourly wage of $17.00 in Dallas, TX. Training is provided, and opportunities exist to contribute to continuous improvement while serving patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
