Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist to support center operations in Burleson, TX. You will greet donors, screen and monitor donors, and assist with phlebotomy while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Expect to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, and participate in a paid training program designed to prepare you for daily duties in a fast-paced plasma center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs. and occasionally up to 32 lbs. (rarely 50 lbs.).
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception; ability to hear equipment.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens; 90% tasks require glove use.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvements and initiate changes to center processes per procedures.
• Be available for donors across variable shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
