Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily operations in the plasma donation center in Richmond, VA. You will report to the Center Manager and manage employees across production areas, ensuring efficiency and donor satisfaction.

You will coordinate Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing tasks, foster teamwork, and resolve conflicts while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Frequent bending and reaching.
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance.
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, prolonged glove wear is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee performance and scheduling.
• Lead inventory control efforts and lead in operational efforts.
• Work with donors to resolve concerns.
• Analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events.
• Perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas.
• Foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts.
