Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Colonial Heights, VA, is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage the plasma collection facility. You will report to the District Manager and oversee daily production, quality, regulatory, and safety compliance while guiding a team of employees.

You will use data to monitor metrics, lead hiring and training, drive donor satisfaction, control costs, and ensure audits pass. The role requires CPR/AED certification, weekend work, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or regulated field or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred
• Ability to work weekends/extended hours and occasional travel
• CPR and AED certification required
• Must be mobile for the full shift
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to monitor equipment sounds

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations and monitor metrics using data.
• Oversee hiring, training and development of staff.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention and high service levels.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to quality, safety of employees and donors.
• Manage facility audit processes and resolve audit-related issues.
• Forecast and attain production and cost goals while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Manage bloodborne pathogen protocols.
