Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Center Manager to lead a Plasma Collection Center in Moreno Valley, CA. The role oversees daily operations, staff, and compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP standards.

You will drive KPI targets, manage budgets, and mentor team members across the center and related facilities. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of supervisory experience in a medical or regulated environment and experience with plasma or blood products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related work experience in clinical or general business environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Prior management experience, preferably supervising a group of 20 or more employees.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the general manager for a Plasma Collection Center and has overall responsibility for the center’s operation.
• Manage the daily operations of the center, supervising operations and quality control, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
• Meet quarterly goals, staffing/hours per labor efficiency standards/cost per liter targets and Quality KPI goals.
• Direct and manage employees to meet training and quality goals and to implement operational changes and maximize center efficiency.
• Develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise implementation of process improvements.
• Manage headcount to provide for efficient staffing through production cycles and handle projections for spikes.
• Oversee hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and maintenance of personnel records.
• Provide strategic direction and planning.
• Mentor assigned team and oversee donor selection, plasma collection and records completion.
• Ensure adequate training of production employees and demonstrate tasks to meet company standards.
• Ensure inventory adequacy and oversee ordering of goods for center operations.
• Maintain facility condition and equipment, manage freezer operations and respond to alarms.
• Submit timely reports and develop community relations to support donor recruitment.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP requirements.
• Coordinate with management to prepare annual budget and achieve production targets within cost structure.
