Job summary

Grifols in Memphis is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead plasma center operations, supervise donor flow, and ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP requirements. You will work under the Center Manager and assist in training staff while maintaining accurate records and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and certifications as Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer, with several years of related experience in phlebotomy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer certifications required.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience in phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ability to perform any/all tasks within the plasma center; fulfill the role of production employees and supervise donor flow.
• Learn and maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, FDA-approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and all manufacturing records to maintain high production standards in accordance with regulations.
• Attend all required training sessions, staff meetings, etc.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of necessary records; assist in training new employees and retraining current staff.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction and long-term donation.
