Job summary

Grifols, S.A. is hiring an Operations Supervisor to oversee plasma center operations, supervise donor flow, and ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP. The role includes training staff, maintaining documentation, and supporting management in achieving company objectives.

The candidate should have phlebotomy and plasma processing certifications, plus 4 years of related experience. On-site role with safety procedures and donor relations emphasis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related phlebotomy/donor/plasma processing experience with proficiency in handling difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ability to perform any/all tasks within the plasma center; fulfill the role of production employees and supervise donor flow.
• Learn and maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, FDA-approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and all manufacturing records to maintain high production standards per regulations.
• Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of necessary records.
• Assure facility is neat and clean; ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Submit timely and accurate reports as required by management.
• Assist in the control of center donor funds as determined by management.
• Assist in training of new employees and retraining of current staff.
• Maintain communication with other service areas to ensure documentation and quality.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term donations.
• Report unsafe situations to area lead, supervisor, or manager.
• May be trained to repair plasma center equipment.
• Assist management in any task necessary to pursue company objectives.
