Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Certified as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing experience.
• Work involves exposure to biological fluids, OSHA/CLIA/cGMP practices, and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise donor flow and production employees to maintain throughput standards.
• Learn and ensure compliance with FDA-approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records.
• Attend training sessions and ensure accurate record documentation.
• Assist Center Manager in maintaining a clean facility and functioning equipment.
• Submit timely reports and assist in donor funds control as directed.
• Train new employees and provide retraining as needed.
• Maintain communication with other service areas to ensure quality and donor satisfaction.
• Build rapport with donors to support long-term donations and report unsafe conditions.
