Job summary

Grifols in Upland, CA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee donor flow, ensure compliance with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/cGMP, and supervise plasma center production staff to meet high quality standards.

You will train new employees, maintain documentation, report on operations, and collaborate with center leadership to improve efficiency and donor satisfaction. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and certification as Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience in phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing with demonstrated proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ability to perform all tasks within the plasma center and supervise donor flow.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP SOPs and internal procedures.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records to meet production standards.
• Attend required training and staff meetings; submit timely reports.
• Train new employees and retrain current staff; ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate with service areas to maintain quality and donor satisfaction.
