BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, and review laboratory test results. You will notify donors when results are unsuitable and work under the Center Manager and Center Physician for guidance and medical issues.

Formación

• State licensure as EMT-Paramedic is required.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate may be preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history review, and physical exam.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for complex medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health activities.
