Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, and review test results within a compliant plasma collection center. The role reports to the Center Manager and works under the Center Physician for medical issues.

You will support vaccination programs and occupational health processes while adhering to EHS guidelines. A nursing license and two years of clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in the applicable state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• At least two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• FDA-mandated BioLife Medical Support Specialist training completion.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and exam.
• Manage donor adverse events per SOPs and guide donor transport to care facilities.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate outcomes to donors.
• Support vaccination programs and incident reporting in accordance with EHS.
