Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, manage donor safety and adverse events, and coordinate with the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Role requires state licensure as EMT or nurse, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years in a clinical/hospital setting. You will work in a fast-paced environment within a Takeda-backed plasma collection center, following strict SOPs and EHS

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified in the responsible state (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P or RN/LPN/LVN)
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
• Fulfill FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, and physical examination
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable
• Manage occupational health incidents with EHS guidance
