BioLife Plasma Services in Bloomington, IN seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and report to the Center Manager. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests.

Qualifications

• Eligibility determined with informed consent, AIDS education, self-exclusion, medical history, exam, testing and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and arrange emergency care per standing orders.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and advise Occupational Health/ER per EHS guidance.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

• Evaluate donor reaction(s) per SOPs and coordinate emergency care as needed.

• Manage incidents and coordinate with EHS for occupational health matters.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
