Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified EMT or nursing licensure (RN/LPN) in the state of responsibility
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
• FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Knowledge of plasma collection regulations and donor safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, physical exam, and SPE review
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs and arrange care
• Consult Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical findings
• Support vaccination programs (HBV, seasonal flu) for staff
• Manage occupational health incidents with EHS guidance and track investigations
