Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Elkhart, Indiana is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and help ensure donor and staff safety in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Center Manager and Center Physician, you will follow SOPs, manage donor adverse events, and coordinate with Medical Affairs and EHS to maintain compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I or EMT-P license required.
• LPN/LVN or RN licensure in the assignment state.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist must be completed.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview and testing.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
