BioLife Plasma Services in Indiana is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (EMT-B) at the Elkhart plasma center. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor adverse events under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

Candidate must hold EMT-B certification in Indiana, CPR/AED, and FDA training; two years clinical or hospital experience is required. This role supports EHS programs and donor safety initiatives in a fast-paced setting.

Aufgaben

• You will determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, donor history interview, physical examination, and review of lab results.
• You will evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies and donor transport as needed.
• You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for concerning findings and guidance on medical/technical issues including donor safety and eligibility.
• You will support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu) as applicable.
• You will manage employee incidents per EHS guidance and be prepared to act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
