BioLife Plasma Services in Columbus, GA seeks a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and respond to donor safety concerns under the Center Manager and Center Physician. This role requires EMT or nursing licensure, CPR/AED, and clinical experience.

The specialist will support vaccination programs, manage incidents, and help ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced plasma collection center environment.

Competenze

• Current EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P licensure in the responsible state.
• Active CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, self-exclusion, medical history interview.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs and arrange transport when needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for complex medical/technical issues.
• Support employee vaccination programs (e.g., Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER and EHS guidance.
